They categorize tickets by severity, for example a stop sign is Category 1, speeding is a 2, and DUI or reckless driving is a Category 3; the statistics software they use will let a single Category 1 or 2 slide, but never a 3. It takes three Category 1's in a given period or two Category 2's before your premium is affected. This is of course the case with MY company, but nothing prevents you from calling your agent and asking him to explain how your premium is affected by tickets. I would think that he's obliged to give you a detailed explicit answer like the one I got.
